Remember only to use barcodes that you personally generated from your own account. Never use a barcode someone else gave you, and never share your barcode with anyone else.

How to cash a check and reload to your card at Walmart
• Bring your preprinted check (e.g., payroll or government) and debit or prepaid card to the Money Service Center or Customer Service. *note that check cashing is not available in all states or stores
• Hand the cashier your endorsed check and debit card along with a valid government-issued photo ID to cash your check and add the money to your card.
• Check-cashing fees have a $4 maximum for pre-printed checks up to $1,000.
• For pre-printed checks above $1,000, the maximum fee is $8. Two-party personal checks are limited to $200 & have a maximum fee of $6.
• In most states the check-cashing limit is $5,000, though Walmart will increase this limit to $7,500 between January & April of each year.
• Up to three transactions are allowed per day.
• Check-cashing fees up to $4 may apply.

• Visit a Walmart Money Service Center or Customer Service desk, show your barcode along with a valid U.S. government-issued ID that matches the name on the account, and collect your cash (a service fee may apply).
